Some of them support our quest for developing our business results (clients, relations, figures&#8230;). Some \u00a0support our quest for living the life we desire. \u00a0And on the other hand, other ones are obstables to\u00a0what we really want.<br \/>\nThat is why, it is so important to step back to\u00a0assess the power of our habits.<\/p>\n<h3>1. A habit : definition<\/h3>\n<p>A habit is something we do automatically; without thinking. It occurs subconsciously. It is a routine behaviour that is very often repeated. That way, your behavior becomes a habit.<\/p>\n<p>Does this resonate to you?<\/p>\n<h3>2. Habits&#8217; impact<\/h3>\n<p>Since they\u00a0occur subconsciously, habits\u00a0are very powerful.<br \/>\nSome habits are\u00a0empowering you, your team, your business, your entire life. \u00a0 And other\u00a0ones are disempowering you, your business, your life.<br \/>\nIn other words, your \u00a0habits<strong>\u00a0influence your results, your outcomes.<\/strong>\u00a0 Habits\u00a0can be positive or\u00a0negative. While some of them make you fly like a butterfly, other ones make you\u00a0stuck like an oyster.<br \/>\nLet&#8217;s talk now about the habit of action or inaction.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>3. Habit of Action or Inaction<\/h3>\n<p>Action is fascinating because action is habitual. Action is so valued by occidental society and by corporations. In France\u00a0peole who\u00a0do not show action in their behaviors are perceived as if they are not working. And this, although they are working on strategy. But strategy is first a thinking\/mental activity. And that is why,\u00a0 it is not first physically observable.<br \/>\nThis means\u00a0that, in occident, action activities or <em>be action oriented<\/em> reflect the body in action. \u00a0 \u00a0Does it mean that\u00a0&#8221;\u00a0thinking about strategy is not an action?&#8221; \u00a0Of course, thinking about and design strategy\u00a0are actions. I must say that\u00a0strategy \u00a0\/mental activity is sometimes much\u00a0more important than many\u00a0behaviors in action (noisy or not).<br \/>\nIt is one of the big differences between being efficient, productive and \u00a0being busy.<\/p>\n<p>This being said, we all know the habits of action and inaction.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3.1 What about you? Are you in Habit of action or inaction?<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">You can be in the habit of action or in the habit of inaction &#8211; both having dramatically different results.<br \/>\nYou\u00a0can also be in the habit of action in your private life and in the habit of inaction in your business, in your job. This depends on specific circumstances.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">And what about you? Are you in the habit of action or in the habit of inaction? \u00a0Your answer lies in your results.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>3.2 The FEAR behind the scene :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The more you create the habit of action, the more action you take.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">And the more you create the habit of inaction, the harder it is to get started. \u00a0Indeed, many often, in my coaching practice, I notice FEAR\u00a0behind the habit of inaction. Fear is a powerful emotion. Fear\u00a0can make us go forward, go back, or remain us in the uncertainty, in inaction.<br \/>\nThe good news is that inaction can be broken. You can transform \u00a0inaction that is holding you back by adopting\u00a0a new habit that is more helpful to reach your goals. \u00a0Close to inaction habit, there is an action habit. This\u00a0is wonderful, is not it?<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5480\" style=\"width: 285px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5480\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5480\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress-997004-4333886.cloudwaysapps.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Habits-impact-your-results-and-emotions.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-5480\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">How to transform a habit of inaction into a habit of action?<\/p><\/div>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3.3 Your personal assignment :<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Which habit are you in? What holds you back?\u00a0 All it takes is that first step.\u00a0 Then another step.\u00a0 No one EVER said it has to be the right step because you can adjust along the way.\u00a0 <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">It just has to be a step, \u00a0not the right one<\/span><\/strong> and all the rest will work itself out.<\/p>\n<h3>To keep in mind :<\/h3>\n<p>What is the learning of this story?
